Portugalia zaprasza/ Portugal invites

Z okazji dnia Portugalii (10 czerwiec) w Barcelonie po raz piąty zorganizowano tydzień kultury portugalskiej. Sztuka, jedzenie, muzyka, kultura (wystawa, spotkanie z portugalskim filozofem i pokaz filmów), to wszystko podczas 6 dniowego festiwalu przybliżał barcelończykom Konsulat Portugalski.

Na deser jakże by inaczej pastéis de Belém.

On the occasion of Portugal's National Day (June 10) , for the fifth time in Barcelona a cultural week was organized to commemorate "Dia de Portugal”. Art, food, music and culture (exhibition, movies, meeting with a famous Portuguese philosopher), all those things that Portugal is famous for were presented to the Barcelonians during the 6-day event by the Portuguese Consulate.

We decided to go to the final event, the concerts of Deolinda and X-wife. The square Jardinets de Salvador Espriu in the heart of Barcelona, at the end of the Passeig de Gracia, was dominated by Portuguese immigrants for few hours who could finally order in Portuguese some Portuguese delicious specialties and drink Portuguese beer, who they believe taste better than other beers. For the dessert, of course something Portuguese and if you like to try a Portuguese liquor Beirao, one of my favorites. At the end of a typical Portuguese Portuguese delicacy, and liquor. A real enclave of Portugal in the heart of Gracia. While we were waiting for our friends, we tried all of tasty snacks served by A Casa Portuguesa (I already wrote about the place here). Caldo verde, rissois de Leitão, grilled chorizo .... For dessert, we couldn’t eat nothing else but Pasteis de Belém. Nuno started to feel bit nostalgic, but since he is going to Portugal in a week, he will have more than a week to swept the nostalgia, but fortunately for the week going for a few days to recharge his batteries for the next few months being abroad.

We ate sitting on the grass, listening to a popular Portuguese music from the 60's and 80's, we watched acrobatic performance of a theater group. This way we passed the time till the very nice concert of the group called Deolinda. You can check their videos, that I really recommend. I will not upload any videos of the second “star” of the evening, case we weren’t impressed by their music or by their performance on the stage, they didn’t manage to establish any contact with the audience. The audience was having much more fun during the first concert, singing along with the singer. During the concert of X-wife instead of singing with the band, a group of people followed an initiative of a Brazilian guy and started to dance to his choreography and resulted more interesting than what was was happening on stage.

This festival is yet another example of the diversity and internationalism of Barcelona, where so many different cultures coexist together.

Whats up this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if
blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.

I'm starting a blog soon but have

no coding knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with

experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
