W Hiszpanii podczas sjesty przeważająca większość sklepów jest zamknięta. Gdy idzie się wtedy ulicą, widzi się szare, metalowe morze blach. Praktycznie każdy sklep ma taką metalową „żaluzję”, rzadziej kratę. Co niektórzy, bardziej pomysłowi i przedsiębiorczy właściciele mają namalowane grafitti, które często nawiązuje do tego, co sprzedaje/ jakie usługi świadczy. Czy nie jest to ciekawsze? Na ostatnim sobotnim spacerze po Barrio Gotico i Barcelonecie poszukałam i udokumentowałam kilka przykładów.
In Spain, during the siesta time most of the shops are closed for few hours. So when you walk on a street, you see one metal shutter after another. Basically, every shop has a metal shutter, some of them have grates. Some creative shop owners have their shutters painted, the paining is in some cases linked to what is being sold/ or what services they provide. It is so much interesting that those boring grey shutters. Last Saturday, when we were walking in Barrio Gotico and Barceloneta, I tried to find some and take pictures so you can see some examples.
