My wybraliśmy się do Granja M Viader, najstarszej granja w Barcelonie. Jak chyba wszystkie popularne miejsca (także wśród miejscowych), kolejka uformowana była już przed wejściem. Na szczęście nie musieliśmy czekać zbyt długo, żeby móc spróbować gorącej czekolady (ja), ciepłego cacaolat z bitą śmietaną (Nuno) oraz sernika (podzieliliśmy się). Cacaolat pijemy codziennie na śniadanie, dlatego też wybraliśmy miejsce, gdzie ten napój został po raz pierwszy wyprodukowany. Cacaolat to taki napój mleczno-czekoladowy, bardzo popularny w Hiszpanii. Granja M. Viader działa od około 1870 roku, teraz 4 pokolenie rodziny Viader produkuje i sprzedaje napoje czekoladowe, koktajle, napoje mleczne, przetwory mleczne.
Wystrój miejsca też zasługuje na komentarz. Kelnerzy w czarnym uniformie, z muchą, na ścianach stare reklamy Cacaolat, przy stolikach Katalończycy jedzą podwieczorek, a turyści starają się zdecydować, co zamówić (menu na stolikach są tylko w jęz. katalońskim), warto postać więc kolejce, by doświadczyć tej atmosfery .
If you're in Barcelona, a visit to granja (means farm in Spanish) is a must if you want to enjoy all the delicious taste that this city has to offer. For breakfast, on the culinary map. For breakfast, dark hot chocolate with churros, that you dip into this thick and sweet beverage. Yum. On the afternoon, you can enjoy chocolate with whipped cream, called suis. We decided to go to Granja M Viader, Barcelona's oldest granja. It seems that all the places that are popular among locals, have a queue formed in front of the entry. Fortunately, we didn’t have to wait too long to be able to taste hot chocolate (me), warm cacaolat with whipped cream (Nuno) and cheesecake (we divided it). I use to drink Cacaolat every morning for breakfast, that’s also why we wanted to go to the place where it was invented. Cacaolat is a popular Spanish Chocolate drink. Granja M Viader was opened around 1870, and now is the fourth generation of Viader family that produces and sells hot chocolate, milkshake, dairy products.
Interior of the granja also deserves few words. Waiters wear black uniforms, bow tie, there are old publicity posters of Cacaolat, Catalan families enjoy afternoon dessert, tourist try to decide what to order (menus on the table are in Catalan only). It all creates a good atmosphere, even if it means that you have to queue a bit.

Ciekawy wpis, będąc w PL brakuje mi właśnie tego napoju, szkoda, że nie sprzedają czegoś podobnego. Znalazłem tylko podobny w smaku drink alkoholowy
Ja cacaolat codziennie piję, nie ma nic lepszego na śniadanie.
A my w PL lubimy alkoholowe napoje w wszystkich smakach. To jakiś likier jest?
