Świąteczne odsłona Barcelony/ Christmas look of Barcelona

Szaleństwo przedświąteczne w pełni, na ulicach tłumy, supermarkety pełne kupujących na ostatni moment prezenty. Dziwnie wyludniona Rambla, tłumy się przeniosły na zakupy chyba i świąteczne jarmarki, które tworzą świąteczną atmosferę już od początku grudnia. Witryny sklepowe również przybrały świąteczny wygląd. W Corte Ingles na pl. Catalunya jest wielka wystawa świątecznych misiów z różnych krajów.



60 kilometrów ulic w Barcelonie jest udekorowanych w tym roku światełkami, które zapalane są od godziny 18.10 do 22, w soboty i niedziele (oraz 24, 25 i 26 grudnia i 5 stycznia) oświetlenie można podziwiać do 1 w nocy. A 6 stycznia, po paradzie Trzech Króli dekoracje są zdejmowane.





“I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes, Christmas is all around me” or rather pre-Christmas madness. It seems that all the people decided to go shopping for last moment presents, so it is better to stay away from supermarkets and shopping centers if possible. Instead you can go to strangely deserted Rambla, it seems that almost everyone prefers a Christmas fair or shopping center on this time of the year. Shop windows are decorated to create Xmas atmosphere and make people spend more money, but the one in Corte Ingles on Pl. Catalunya representing teddy bears from various countries in their festive outfits is actually a really nice decoration.



This year, 60 km of streets in Barcelona, have Christmas lights that are turned on from 6.10 pm to 10 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays (and 24, 25 and 26 December and 5 January) you can admire the illuminations till 1 am. But be fast, cause it will be all removed on the 6th January, right after Three Kings parade.
