Zamiast wyborów, plażowanie/ Choosing a beach over elections

Dzisiaj w Hiszpanii gorąca atmosfera, atmosfera lokalnych wyborów. My jednak postanowiliśmy w tę wyjątkowo ciepłą niedzielę zapoczątkować sezon plażowy. Wczoraj zakupiliśmy krem do opalania z filtrem 50 (!), bo przy mojej polskiej bladości nie chciałam po kilku godzinach na słońcu przybrać koloru krewetki. W drodze do Castelldefels (nie ma tu nic oprócz całkiem przyzwoitej plaży z bezpłatnym Internetem wifi), zatrzymaliśmy się w centrum handlowym, by wyposażyć się w ręczniki plażowe. (na marginesie zaznaczę, że centrum handlowe otwarte w niedzielę to rzadkość w Hiszpanii, więc mieliśmy szczęście). Do tego lekkie gazetki, pyszna tarta ze szparagami i byliśmy gotowi :)



Plażowanie to chyba ulubione zajęcie Nuno, bez plaży nie wyobraża sobie wakacji, lata, życia. Nie powiem, też lubię, gdy moja skóra nabiera lekko brązowego koloru. I coś mi się wydaje, że często będziemy tak spędzać weekendy, może tylko nowe plaże będziemy odkrywać.


On Sunday, in addition to hot weather, we had also a hot atmosphere of municipal elections. Today in Personally, we decided to go to a beach and mark the beginning of a beach season. We were prepared, we bought a sunscreen Cream SPF50, (!) because at this time of the year, after long time without exposing my pale Polish skin to the sun, I didn´t want to look like a shrimp after the first sunbathing. On the way to Castelldefels (there is nothing but a pretty decent wide beach, with free Wi-fi), we stopped at a mall, cause from our beach equipment we were missing beach towels and sun umbrella. We were lucky to find a shopping center opened on Sunday, which is unusual in Spain. But we didn´t have the luck to find any umbrellas there :( A girly magazine, (a one about cars for Nuno), a delicious salty tart with asparagus for lunch, and we were more than ready.


Spending time on a beach is probably the favorite Nuno´s pastime; he can´t imagine holidays without a beach, living in a city with no beach… Well, I also like when my skin is slightly tanned. So now you can imagine that we will spend many weekends this way, discovering new beaches in the region.
