Szał hiszpańskich wyprzedaży/ Craziness of Spanish sales
Kolejki do przymierzalni, kolejki do kasy, slalom między wieszakami, poszukiwania rozmiarów, podejmowanie decyzji. Przeciętny Hiszpan wydaje średnio 90- 150 euro podczas wyprzedaży. A wyprzedaże przez kilka dni były jednym z głównych punktów wiadomości w telewizji hiszpańskiej.
Przeceny w Hiszpanii nie są symboliczne jak w Polsce, tutaj ceny spadają średnio o 50%, 70% na koniec przecen. Rebajas dzielą się na 3 etapy (same rebajas trwają od stycznia do połowy marca): pierwsze przeceny, potem drugie przeceny, a potem remate- wyprzedaż resztek po śmiesznych cenach (niestety najczęściej zostają same niestandardowe rozmiary).
W Hiszpanii wszystkie sklepy organizują obniżki- od sklepów z ciuchami, akcesoriami, zabawkowe, drogerie, po te ze sprzętem z AGD, nawet książki. Barcelona to raj dla kochających zakupy, najbardziej znane sklepy z hiszpańskimi markami znajdują się na trasie ze znanymi zabytkami (Passeig de Gracia i Diagonal- ale tam zakupy mogą robić tylko posiadacze dość grubego portfela, bo tam znajdują się bardziej luksusowe marki), przy Ramblas, Avinguda Portal de l’Angel- tam mamy nawet 2 Zary, 2 H&M na tej samej ulicy).
Zara, Mango, Bershka, rzuciliśmy się także i my w ten szał zakupów, tańsze ubrania, buty, dodatki, sprzęt elektroniczny. Trafiliśmy na prawdziwe okazje, po 2 dniach shoppingu skończyliśmy z kilkoma siatkami :) Zmęczeni przez całe to zamieszanie -istne tłumy na ulicach, w sklepach (jak ja mierzyłam ciuchy, Nuno już zajmował miejsce w kolejce), postanowiliśmy, że w tym sezonie już nic nie kupimy (no może pod koniec przecen, zobaczymy, czy uda nam się coś upolować).
Teraz czekamy na wyprzedaże letnie :)
As I said, post Xmas time is far from being about relaxing, having some rest and tranquillity. All the contrary, and it is all because of one thing that is believed to give happiness- shopping (as Marilyn Monroe said: Money don't give happiness, only shopping.). Twice a year, Spanish people go crazy, and then you just know that rebajas (called rebaixas in Catalonia) has begun. Especially the first days of sales are really frenzy. Winter sales begin on 7th January (as before 6th- Epiphany- there are still too many people that buy presents, so it would be too unprofitable to start sales before that day). In other comunidades sales can begin earlier, but in Catalonia it is always after The Three King’s day that shops are filled with people who want to buy things that they may not need at bargain prices.
Shops are packed, the hunt for the best offer is on. Queues to the fitting room, queues to the cashier counters, (when I was trying on clothes, Nuno was saving a spot in the queue to pay for them) slalom between clothes hangers, shelves, trying to find your size, having to make a decision on the spot... Really difficult challenges... An average Spaniard spends between 90-150 euros on sales. Rebajas during few days make one of the most important headlines on Spanish TV.
Sales in Spain are not symbolic, as it often happen in Poland, on teh contrary: prices go down by an average of 50- 70%. Rebajas can be divided into three periods (rebajas itself start in January and end first weeks of March): first sales, then some shops reduce prices again (segundo rebajas),finally remate- you can find things at really ridiculous prices, unfortunately almost everything that is left is not your size or taste).
In Spain, almost every shop takes part in this madness- clothes, accessories, toys, drugstores, household, even books. Barcelona is a paradise for shopping lovers, the most famous Spanish brand are located one step from the famous monuments (Passeig de Gracia and Diagonal-shop there only if your wallet can survive a visit at most exclusive and luxurious (read: expensive)shops that are located in this area), the Ramblas, Avinguda Portal de l'Angel- pedestrianshopping area where you have all Spanish brands.
Zara, Mango, Bershka, well, we also couldn’t resist the temptation and we spent some hours shopping, looking for bargains, cheaper clothes, shoes, accessories, electronic equipment. The result: few bags and less €€€ on our accounts. We ended tired of all this fuss and shopping heat, endless crowds on the streets, shops bursting at the seams. We decided that we had enough, well, maybe we will check what is left at the end of the sales season...
Now we are waiting for hot summer sales:)

Beware in case you encounter a lender who offers no appraisal of

a specific thing which is not on that specific credit agencies report
