Zgubić się w zielonym labiryncie/ Get lost in a green labyrinth

To miał być najładniejszy park Barcelony. To miał być park romantyczny, gdzie zakochane pary chcą nacieszyć się sobą. To miał być idealny park, który położony z daleka od turystycznego szlaku, pozwoliłby nam odpocząć od hałasu i nacieszyć oczy zielenią. To miał być park, w którym mieliśmy się zgubić. Niestety, rzeczywistość po raz kolejny spłatała nam figla.

Wybraliśmy się do Parc del Laberint d'Horta, który miał być jednym z mniej odkrytych skarbów Barcelony, położony w dzielnicy Horta-Guinardó, czyli dość daleko od centrum. Park ten jest najstarszym parkiem w Barcelonie i miał też być najładniejszym. Niestety, ze względu na zatłoczenie nie byliśmy w stanie docenić jego niewątpliwego uroku. Wyglądało na to, że setki rodzin wpadły na pomysł zabrania swoich pociech do tego parku, tak więc w labiryncie pełno było małych, wrzeszczących hiszpańskich niños (nie to żebym nie lubiła dzieci, ale te hiszpańskie są średnio dziesięć razy bardziej hałaśliwe niż przeciętne) szukających wyjścia z labiryntu. Park bowiem dzieli się na kilka części: ogród neoklasyczny z XVII wieku, ogrodu romantycznego z XIX oraz głównej atrakcji czyli labiryntu.

Labirynt jest punktem przyciągającym największe zainteresowanie. Może gdyby zmniejszyć zatłoczenie i my byśmy świetnie się bawili, próbując znaleść wyjście z tego zielonego labiryntu, przez chwilę byśmy się poczuli jak dzieci, odkrywając drogę do wyjścia, a znajdując zamknięte odnogi. Niestety, weszliśmy, zgubiliśmy się 2 razy, wróciliśmy do punktu wyjścia i uciekliśmy. Od hałasu, zgiełku, krzyku. Po szybkim lunchu (ach ta pyszna sałatka) zdecydowaliśmy się na spacer brzegiem morza. Do Parc del Laberint d'Horta warto się wybrać w dzień powszedni, bo może wtedy park będzie romantycznym, zagadkowym, pięknym i nieodkrytym miejscem.

Dla lubiących kino wspomnę, że w tym parku kręcone były sceny do filmu Pachnidło: Historia mordercy (ktoś może jeszcze pamiętać, że inne sceny z tego filmu kręcone były w Poble Espanyol).

It was supposed to be the most beautiful park in Barcelona. It was supposed to be a romantic park where couples in love go to walk holding hands, staring at each other, kissing. It was supposed to be a perfect park to admire nature, to get away from the sounds of the city, tourists, and just enjoy the green surroundings and silence. Unfortunately, all those qualities that supposedly the park we went had, were not available on sunny Saturday.

We went to the Parc del Laberint d'Horta, that I read is one of unidscovered treasures of Barcelona. We thought that since it is situated in the district of Horta-Guinardó, quite far from the center, we would be one of few who decided to spend there afternoon. We were more than mistaken, ad is seems that hundredrs of families decided to go to the oldest park in the city. The park that is believed by many to be the most beautiful park in BCN was full of screaming children. A green maze in the middle of the park was full of small, running, noisy Spanish niños (it is nit that I don’t like kids in general, but Spanish children are ten times noisier than I tolarate) trying to find their wat out of the labyrinth. The park is divided into few areas: XVII century neo-classical garden, romantic garden from the XIX century and the main ttraction, that is the labyrinth that gives its name to the whole park. Maybe if there weren’t that many people we would have great time. Maybe we would play like children trying to find a way out of the green maze, getting lost, finding a closed paths, and finally getting out.

Unfortunately, as soon as we enterer, well to be more specific after turning the wrong direction twice and returning exactly to the starting point, we decided to get away. The spot that we chose to escape from the noise and crowds was both crowded and noisy. SO after a quick lunch we brought, we ran away to the beach. Still I truly believe that the Parc del Laberint d'Horta can be beautiful, romantic, mysterious. Just not on the weekend.
